Mark's
2005 seminar schedule rolls on:
 Mark presented his all-new course
on Providing Consulting Services to Physician Practices for the
Massachusetts Society of CPAs on May 20 and for the North Carolina Association
of CPAs in August, in conjunction with their annual Healthcare Conference, receiving knowledge scores of 4.75 on the 5.0 scale. Mark
also presented the Practicing CPAs Medical Practice Valuation Course
for the North Carolina Association of CPAs in August receiving knowledge scores of 4.90, besting last summer’s inaugural
presentation's average score of 4.75 from the participants - who included an attendee from the UK where the government health system is being partially privatized! Checking

Mark’s
presentation on issues in valuing medical practices at the AICPA National
Healthcare Industry Conference received a score of 4.77 on the 5.0 scale from
the 175 attendees.

Mark Dietrich spoke at the AICPA’s November 2003 National Business
Valuation Conference on “Emerging Issues in Healthcare Valuation.” At the
same conference, Mark received the Financial Consulting Group’s annual “Top
Forum Poster” award for the member who contributed the most frequent and
knowledgeable responses on valuation questions. The Financial Consulting Group
is the leading organization of business valuation and financial consulting firms
in the United States.
Windsor Professional Information announced its intent to publish a 3rd
Edition of Mark’s Medical Practice Valuation Guidebook. Look for it some
time at the end of 2004.
Mark will speak at Tufts-New England Medical Center Graduate Medical Education's
Getting Ready for Practice program for residents on December 10, 2003.
His topic will be The CPA’s Role in Your Medical Practice and will
feature an overview of today's CPA/Healthcare Consultant compared to the
historical role of the accountant.
